B’litk lets the timestream current drag its body toward the downstream portal.
It latches onto it, and it can see a gorgeous, frigid world, with snow-covered ships and interesting caves. There are lots of possibilities for finding a time-anchor here, so B’litk simply throws itself at the portal.
To its surprise, though, it cannot break the veil from the timestream into that particular dimension. It tries all the tricks it knows, but apparently this portal is still closed to it. Despite being severely disappointed, B’litk hopes that it will still be able to access it in the future.
B'litk does not have a way forward. It must go back and try the other portal.
B'litk sees ahead of it two rectangles in the timestream. It believes these could be time-anchors, pieces of important timelines which can help direct B'likt back to its own timeplace. Which one should B'litk choose?
